Jo-ann Robertson’s journey from a council estate in Scotland to the global stage of communications leadership is nothing short of extraordinary. She began as a political activist and TV reporter fighting for representation and truth, before rising through the ranks of Weber Shandwick and joining Ketchum in 2011 to build a Corporate and Public Affairs team from scratch. Within four years, it quadrupled in size.

Jo-ann became UK CEO in 2018, where she redefined what modern leadership looks like. She integrated teams under a ‘OneLondon’ vision, unlocking double-digit growth and driving creative, inclusive, award-winning work. In 2021, she joined the global executive team, and in 2022, she stepped into her most transformative role yet: CEO of Global Markets.

Jo-ann has used her platform at every step to champion diversity, not as a campaign, but as a culture. While others slowed DEI efforts during the pandemic, Jo-ann accelerated them, embedding inclusion as a business imperative.
