Beth Gordon

Director of Brand Marketing and Comms , Independent Media / The Independent

Beth is director of brand marketing and communications at Independent Media, looking after The Independent globally, BuzzFeed UK, HuffPost UK, Tasty UK and Seasoned. After marketing and creative roles at Jazz FM, Global Radio and MySpace, and a stint agency-side at M2M handling accounts including Clinique, Beth was part of the original team at Spotify and the company's first ever business marketing employee. Joining as Spotify's European brand strategy director and then becoming its director of trade marketing, she built the commercial brand across Europe, before helping to launch Spotify in the US. From there, she went to Twitter, as the brand's first business marketing head for the EMEA region. Before The Independent, Beth spent a few years leading consumer marketing and communications for music brands and festivals.
