Nicky Regazzoni and Georgina Blizzard
, The PR Network
George and Nicky are co-CEOs of The PR Network (PRN), operating a successful job share since co-founding the business in 2005 - the first job share to be awarded a place on the FT Power Part Time list in 2013. Today we're a £4.8m award-winning agency operating in 40+ countries, with revenues doubling in just five years. We solve global PR problems through our experienced teams across the world.
George and Nicky pioneered the remote model 15 years before COVID-19. Their ambition was to disrupt the global PR industry after 15 years working for London agencies. They wanted to champion the incredible talent which leaves the PR industry due to lack of flexibility; simultaneously they had spotted a gap in the market for experienced people to work collaboratively on client challenges. After testing this service innovation in the market, they devised a strategy to bring freelance experts together in remote teams, managed by Client Services Directors (employees). The business model is strong; the lack of office overhead means we can invest the majority of client fees in the best teams, while generating high profits.
Today The PR Network has nine permanent employees and 1300+ associate partners all over the world, working for world-leading brands such as Toyota/Lexus, Beyond Meat, Zipcar, Dropbox and What3Words. We specialise in technology and consumer and are a PRWeek Top 100 UK agency and PRWeek Top 200 Global PR Agency (2024). George and Nicky are Fellows of the Public Relations Communications Association and feature in the PRWeek UK Power Book (2021 - 2024).
Individual achievements:
George leads culture at PRN and is responsible for our exceptional staff retention rate (average: 10 years). She has pioneered a “Family First” ethos which means that staff can work around their children and other caring responsibilities where necessary if they are sick or have special milestones or events as part of family life. She introduced a team wellbeing app (FormScore) and has become a Mental Health First Aider. We won an award for Best Small Agency to Work For (2024) by PRovoke Media and are finalists in the same category for PRWeek (2024). She is passionate about DEI and the agency commits financially to various ethnic and social mobility initiatives including Socially Mobile. Finally, we have nine 5* ratings by our team on Glassdoor.
Nicky led our B Corp certification which was achieved in June 2023. As part of our ongoing commitment to using our business as a force for good, in 2023 we gave away £50,000 of profits to good causes including £17,000 to CAMFED and £5000 to Refuge. Nicky also launched an Employee Giving Fund for all staff to give £500 to a small charity of their choice. Finally, Nicky identified a partnership opportunity with environmental consultancy, Furthr, who have measured our carbon footprint and are helping us reduce it, while offsetting the impact we do have with reforestation community projects in Myanmar and Uganda. Our new team app tracks and offsets staff carbon emissions.
