Ian Ashcroft

Ian Ashcroft  Ian is a Global People Specialist and NED, operating at Board and C-suite level, with both multinational and SME companies. Focused on achieving commercial objectives through strategic planning, company restructures, staff motivation and development, and leadership development.  Ian has provided consultancy and interim management services on short and long-term contracts to clients such as the European Bank, British Airways, Life Technologies, and British American Tobacco. He was the first-ever HR Director for a leading international media company, with a turnover of £250m and with 1200 employees worldwide.  This followed a 2-day assignment that became a 3-year appointment!  He has worked in the US, France, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Bulgaria and "an awful lot of the UK"!  He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. He is the Employee Engagement Adviser to the Consultation Institute, and a Life Member of the Guards Polo Club!
