Chris Dalton

Associate Professor , Henley Business School

Dr Chris Dalton is Associate Professor of Management Learning and Leadership at Henley Business School, which he joined in 2005. Chris was Programme Director of Henley's Flexible Executive MBA until 2010 and now runs the Personal Development module, a core course on the MBA.  Chris publishes practitioner books in management, leadership and personal development. These include The Integrated Leader: a Foundation for Lifelong Management Learning, which was published in 2021, and MBA Day by Day, which came out in 2019. Chris writes a regular column for Management Today and is the module leader for the MT Leadership Learning course "Leading with Purpose."  An innovative facilitator, Chris has over 29 years of experience in management education and training and runs corporate workshops and seminars related to management development in South Africa, central Europe and the Middle East. In 2022 he was awarded a University Teaching Fellowship by the University of Reading, of which Henley is a part. He is a visiting professor at Soka University, Tokyo, Japan.  Chris holds a PhD in Management Learning and Leadership from Lancaster University (2013) and an MBA from Henley Business School, gained in 2000. He is a certified coach and online tutor and has trained as a systemic constellations facilitator, regularly working with the public and private sector in facilitating team and organisational development, as well as reflective retreats at Henley's famous Greenlands campus.
